Pensions Act 2021

Readers of our newsletters will know that the Pension Schemes Bill has been making its way through various key stages of Parliamentary scrutiny for some time. The Bill has received Royal Assent and is now the Pensions Schemes Act 2021 (“PSA 2021”). 

Whilst there is still much required in the way of secondary legislation, guidance, and codes of practice on the substantive parts of the Act, this special newsletter highlights the key requirements, which all Trustees, Sponsoring Employers and their advisers should be aware of. We have also produced an information sheet summarising the current notifiable event regime as well as those new events that are being introduced.
